Guess the film - Screenshot game

Postby Jos » Sat Oct 18, 2008 12:48 pm

Ok, somebody posts a screenshot of a film, when somebody guesses the film he can post another. Easy enough. Hints can be given if nobody seems to get it; maybe an extra screenshot or director/actor names etc. Let me start this off:

Great idea, but I don't know this one. That kind of looks like Ingrid Thulin...

Ok. The guy on the left directed and stars in this film, as he does in (almost) all of his films. Olof thinks he is a great man :)

Oh oh The Stranger!

I can't believe I mistook Loretta Young for Ingrid Thulin. :x

(Do I await confirmation or just go for it? I'm pretty sure...)

You got it Lauren!

If you are really sure you can post the next screenshot, it keeps the pace of the game up since the one posting it isn't here 24/7. If you got it wrong after all it doesn't really matter anyway, we can guess 2 at a time then.

Anyway, you're up now!

Just a comment.

It looks French to me. Maybe a Renoir film?

The Regular Lovers?

Black Rain is pretty good; it could have been much better if it weren't for some glaring flaws.

It came to mind because it looked exactly like the production stills/trailers that I've seen for it.

I would have loved to have had a better resolution pic, because that's a fantastic pic, even though I haven't even seen that film. It was Alpine Fire.

Here's a new one:
